GDG-Entertainment was founded in 2014 by a group of enthusiasts of '80s' old-school graphic adventures. Initially formed by three members, it's now kept alive by Gianluca and Davide.
Both cut their teeth on the Commodore's 8-bit range of computers, mainly the VIC-20, the C64 and the C128 (with occasional "raids" into the Sinclair's Spectrum territory), before moving on to the Amiga.
In particular, Gianluca was fond of text adventures (now generally known as IF - Interactive Fiction) and, after publishing the graphic games in this repository, went back to them. He now runs his personal page, and he's also the creator and co-maintainer of the BDB Project, together with Garry Francis.
Davide, instead, is active in the IT business and keeps tinkering with the Amiga, especially in the field of the Amiga OS4. Check out his sites at os4games and os4dev.com.
Inspired by timeless graphic classics like "Monkey Island", the group aims to deliver a modern experience while maintaining the classics' "look and feel".
From "point-and-click", like "The Secret of Middle City", to icon-driven adventures, like "CyberSphere", the adventurer will have the opportunity to visit iconic environments, meet unforgettable characters and to unveil dark secrets.
Have fun!
